SME Export Marketing Fund

The SME Export Marketing Fund (EMF)

is a special subsidy scheme, offered by the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administration Region (HKSAR), which aims at assisting Hong Kong-based small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in expanding their businesses through active participation in export promotion activities, like trade exhibitions and advertising in trade publications. This show has been accredited as a trade promotion event to qualify for the EMF scheme. All Hong Kong-registered exhibitors are eligible to apply for the funding of the scheme.

Latest Enhancements to the SME Export Marketing Fund (EMF)

The cumulative funding ceiling per enterprise under the SME Export Marketing Fund (EMF) has been increased from $0.8 million to $1 million. Furthermore, effective from 30 April 2021 until 30 June 2026, the funding scope is expanded to cover large-scale exhibitions targeting the local market as well as online exhibitions, and the eligibility criteria is relaxed to cover non-SMEs.
